Ninh Binh City

Ninh Binh city is the political, economic, cultural and social center of Ninh Binh Province. The newly recognized city has a convenient transport system linked to National Highway 1A, and the North– South railway, with Van Sang river and Day river, creating an important and diverse transport network. It is easy to access the neighboring provinces and national road system.

Currently, the increasingly upgrading of infrastructures and civil constructing projects (healthcare, education...) are making Ninh Binh city a modern area, which is also attractive with well-known beauty spots such as Non Nuoc mountain (also called Duc Thuy), Canh Dieu Mountain, Ky Lan mountain, Van Sang River, Day River and Tranh River.

There are also historical - cultural sites such as Truong Han Sieu temple, Phuc Long Pagoda, Dau Long Pagoda, Dong Ben Temple, Hiem temple, Ninh Binh Cathedral and many more.
